Loyal L. Bell, 83, of Butler, passed away at Allegheny General Hospital on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025.

Loyal was born Feb. 24, 1942, in Butler. He was the son of the late Loyal A. Bell and Emily Jean (McCandless) Bell.

Loyal was a 1960 Graduate of Moniteau High School and retired from Armco Steel after working in the pipe shop for 40 years. He was a member of Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church.

Loyal married Alice (Capello) Bell on Oct. 2, 1965. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage together. Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons, Curtis (Lynda) Bell and Douglas (Sally) Bell; his sister, Carolyn (Victor) Rozic; along with two brothers, Kenneth (Pamela) Bell and James (Joan) Bell. Additionally, he is survived by his cherished granddaughter, Emily Bell; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

BELL — Visitation for Loyal L. Bell, who died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Muddy Creek EP Church, 341 Muddy Creek Drive, Butler. Funeral services will follow at the church at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Matthew Kail presiding.

Private interment will follow at Greenlawn Burial Estates in Mount Chestnut.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Young family of WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, West Sunbury.
