Wanda Hall
Wanda Lynn Hall, 58, of Grove City, was called home to receive her hard-earned everlasting Christmas gift on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, entering eternal life in heaven with Jesus and reunited with her beloved father. She passed peacefully surrounded by love, with her mother, sister, brother and her faithful companion, her beloved pup, Coco, by her side.
Born on Aug. 7, 1967, Wanda Lynn was the daughter of the late Lawrence Glenn Hall Sr. and Carol Ann Landgraf Hall. Born with one functioning kidney, this challenge never dimmed her light. She lived as a vibrant, God-loving woman — full of life, joy, kindness, humor and unconditional love. A true friend to all, Wanda’s presence brought warmth wherever she went. Her bright smile, beautiful brown eyes, playful humor and joyful spirit could light up any room. Whether through laughter, dancing or a perfectly timed silly comment, she had a gift for making others feel seen and loved.
Wanda’s greatest joy was being a mother to her two sons. She was deeply devoted, selfless and endlessly loving, always placing their needs above her own. She worked tirelessly to raise them with strong values, focused on faith, goodness and purpose in life. Her love for them never wavered.
God blessed Wanda with a beautiful soul and many talents. She went to modeling school, played softball for many years and continued beyond high school, and was crowned 1984 homecoming queen at Slippery Rock High School. She formed lifelong friendships wherever she went, including friendships marked by loyalty, laughter and unforgettable memories.
Wanda began working at a young age as a babysitter, later working in the restaurant field before becoming a bank teller, where she met one of her dearest friends. She embraced an opportunity to become a flight attendant with USAir prior to marriage. Once she married, her career shifted back to banking. Once she became a mom, her career shifted again and she served as a high school secretary while remaining actively involved in her boys’ life.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Wanda also worked part-time during the holidays at the Wine & Spirits store while maintaining a full-time job. She eventually returned to banking, advancing from teller to assistant bank manager and loan officer through her strong work ethic and determination. Her commitment and character left a lasting impact on co-workers and friends alike. In her final months, friends traveled long distances, making multiple four-hour round trips — simply to spend time with her, a testament to how deeply she was loved.
Wanda shared a profound bond with her beloved Yorkie, Coco, her loyal and faithful companion to the very end. She also held a deep love and appreciation for horses. Above all, her heart belonged to her family, and the memories they shared will be treasured forever.
Wanda is lovingly survived by her two sons; her mother, Carol; her sister, Tammy (Doug) Orloski Sr., Clinton and son, Myles; Douglas Jr. (Allison) and son, Eli; Derrick (Tawni) and sons, Hudson, Carson and Weston; her brother, L. Glenn (Shannon) Hall Jr.; Alex (Belle) Hall; Hailey (LaCell) Bowen and son, Bentley; Max (Riley) Hall; along with many beloved uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her cherished father, Lawrence Glenn Hall Sr., who passed on May 28, 2025; as well as her grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Wanda leaves behind a deep and lasting legacy of faith in God, unwavering love for family and friends, hard work, humor, forgiveness and a genuine love of life. Her heartfelt desire to all was to respect God, life, love deeply and forgive freely — for no one knows the day nor the hour when the Lord will come. God bless all who were touched by her beautiful life.
