Donna Hall, 78, of Sarver, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Born Feb. 17, 1947, in Butler, she was the daughter of William C. Wise and Mildred Knause Wise.

She married her husband, Steven, on Oct. 8, 1966, with whom she spent 46 loving years.

Donna devoted her life to caring for others. She worked as a homemaker and worked at Jack’s Restaurant. She lovingly cared for countless children over the years, opening her home and heart to many families and leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to be in her care.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church, The Senior Center and Saxonburg Golden Agers. She enjoyed watching her son and grandchildren play sports, she loved the Steelers and she enjoyed her Thursday coffee shop visits with friends. She was very generous donating to many charities and loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her daughters, Cherrie (Chuck) Uric, of Sarver, and Tracy (Bill) Maue, of Moon Township; son, Steven Hall, of Saxonburg; five grandchildren, Tyler Uric, Jenna Uric, Austin (Haley) Uric, Rocco (Emily) Maue and Nicholas Maue; one great-grandchild, Jordan Uric; her siblings, Richard Wise Sr., Carolyn (Larry) Paulson, Shirley (Grant) Rodgers and Bonnie Andring, all of Butler; numerous nieces and nephews; and her yellow Lab, Mya.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven; her parents; sister, Lillian Bachman; brothers, George Wise, Carl “Peck” Wise and James Wise; and one grandson, Jordan Uric.

HALL — Friends of Donna Hall, who died Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 27, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot, with Father Matt McClain officiating.

Interment will follow in Buffalo Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the South Butler Community Library or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
