Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia, will host a free grief workshop, titled “Facing the Firsts (And Even the Seconds),” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 17. at its office, 116 Browns Hill Road, Suite 100, Middlesex Township.

The hospice team will present tips to face all the firsts, plus subsequent anniversaries, of a person’s grief journey, including anniversaries, birthdays, spring holidays and more.

This free program is for adults, and lunch will be provided for registered attendees. The bereavement programs are rooted in the Christian faith, but the hospice said it offers a supportive environment that welcomes individuals of all faiths or backgrounds.
