A man is injured Monday morning, Dec. 22, after a vehicle fire in Forward Township Monday morning, according to Butler County Emergency dispatch reports.

A man was initially trapped in his vehicle as it caught on fire, and bystanders got the driver out of the vehicle as the fire escalated, the reports indicated.

Reports showed around 7:30 a.m. a vehicle on Brownsdale Road between Route 68 and Tunnel Road caught on fire after a crash.

As first responders made their way to the scene, others were attempting to get a man out of his car on fire, according to dispatch reports.
