Sheryl Bennett
Sheryl “Sherry” Bennett, 69, of Zelienople, passed peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025.
Born Sept. 4, 1956, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late James A. Irvine and Gloria Jean (Arnold) Nicholson.
Sherry loved watching the Steelers and Penguins, as well as racing and the game show channel. She enjoyed cheering on her children and grandchildren in their sport of choice, sometimes being the loudest fan in the stands. She lit up with excitement at every chance to engage in games with her family. You would often catch her playing Yahtzee or cards with her sisters and enjoying bingo or family game nights regularly.
Sherry had an amazing sense of humor and loved to joke around and be with those she loved. She was a lover of music, dancing and concerts, having seen Toby Keith perform 11 times in Pittsburgh. In her early years, she was an avid bowler, played soccer and had weekly card games with her friends. Her Friday nights were often spent at the dirt racetrack. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 52 years, Clyde “Randy”; her daughters, Nicole (Timothy) and Amber (Jason); her grandchildren, Maisie, Makaela, Coltyn, Donovan and Dustin; and her furry grands, Thor, Loki, Nova and Venus; her sisters, Bonnie Burgard, JoAnn (Dennis) Paris and Bobbi (Teddie) Krajewski; her stepsister, Shelly (Bill) Cahall; her sister-in-law, Dee Robinson; her brother-in-law, Roger (Amy) Bennett; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her brother, James A. Irvine; her stepsister, Tracy Charlier; her nephew, Jason Robinson; and her brother-in-law, Jake Robinson.
