Allegheny RiverStone Center plans holiday weekend events
Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts will ring in the holidays with two events on this weekend.
The Red Brick Gallery & Gift Shop annual holiday art exhibit will be up for viewing from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday; from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at 17 Main St. in Foxburg.
Created by Red Brick Gallery Cooperative Member Artists, the items on display are in a variety of media, including jewelry, paintings, woodwork, photography, fiberwork and more.
The exhibit continues Dec. 19 to 21.
On Sunday, Dec. 21, at RiverStone, C Street Brass will perform a Christmas Show in the Lincoln Hall.
C Street Brass is described as a “modern brass quintet that likes to have fun.” The show will be appropriate for all ages and aims to bring holiday pizzazz to everyone in the audience. The show begins at 2 p.m. and tickets and more information are available online at alleghenyriverstone.org.
