Dassa McKinney Elementary closed Wednesday
Students arrive at Dassa McKinney Elementary School, which now houses all of the Moniteau School District's elementary students. The Clay Township school was expanded, a project that was completed by fall 2004.
Students will have remote learning day
Dassa McKinney Elementary School in Moniteau School District moved to a remote learning day Wednesday, Dec. 17, due to mechanical and water issues.
The district said the mechanical and water issues are due to heating system failure. Students and staff at that building will operate on a 2-hour delay schedule during the remote learning day.
Moniteau Jr. Sr. High School will operate as normal.
“The safety and comfort of our students and stuff remain our top priorities,” the district said. “Given the complexity of these issues, we cannot guarantee a productive leaving environment in the building.”
