Danny King

King

Danny King, 79, of Renfrew, passed away Friday, Dec. 12, 2025.

He was born Feb. 18, 1946, to the late Daniel and Martha (Bowser) King.

Danny graduated from Moniteau High School in 1964 and then honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at Armco for over 35 years until his retirement.

Danny loved the outdoors and hunted for most of his life. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and a bowling league. Danny was a golfer for many years, especially when he and his wife, Anna, lived in Sunset Beach, N.C., during the early 2000s. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and Western movies. Danny was known for his gentle nature and love of the outdoors.

He and Anna traveled around the country, enjoying Las Vegas many times and touring National Parks. He took his family on vacation to Myrtle Beach, S.C., for yearly summer vacations. Danny loved visiting daughters and grandchildren in North Carolina and Massachusetts.

Danny was the beloved husband of Anna (Patterson) King, whom he married in 1965, and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary; father of Deanna (Michael) Garner and Danielle (Brian) Sams; and grandfather of William and Paige Sams.

Along with his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his brother, Paul King; and sister, Sally Burns.

KING — All arrangements for Danny King, who died Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
