Trill

Robert C. Trill Jr., 88, recently of Butler, but lifelong resident of Parker, passed away Friday evening, Dec. 12, 2025, at his residence following a period of declining health. Born June 27, 1937, in Perry Township, Clarion County, he was a son of the late Robert C. Sr. and Emma Lucille “Celie” Horner Trill.

He was married to the former Nancy Ashbaugh who preceded him in death on Nov. 11, 2023.

A 1955 graduate of the former Parker High School, Bob was a career lineman with Central Electric Co-Op of Parker, where he retired as line superintendent.

Bob was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Parker and also affiliated with Park Hill Church of God at West Freedom.

He was a member of F.&A.M. Lodge 521 of Parker and also a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge 278 located in Butler. He was also member of the NRA.

Surviving are one daughter, Crystale (James “Chip”) Leavy, of Greenbriar, Tenn.; son, Robert “Mike,” and wife, Cindy Trill, of Butler; daughter-in-law, Tracy Trill, of Johnson City, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Janet Trill Fox, of Parker; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bob was preceded in death by a son, Edward A. Trill, on Oct. 16, 2024; an infant grandchild, David Leavy; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Fox.

TRILL — Visitation for Robert C. Trill Jr., who died Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at H. JACK BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, 201 S. Wayne Ave., Parker, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, with the Rev. Amy Callander and the Rev. “Chuck” Cline officiating.

He will then be laid to rest with his beloved wife at Parker Presbyterian Cemetery.

F.&A.M. Lodge 521 will conduct Masonic Memorial Services at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
