Karen E. Frederick Reese, 65, of Slippery Rock, passed peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025.

Karen was born April 24, 1960 in Bristol, Pa., to the late Ralph A. Frederick Jr. and Joann Weber Frederick, who survives. She was a graduate of Bel Air High School in Bel Air, Md.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Megan Marie Lutes (Keith); her granddaughter, Arabella “Bella” Lutes of Grove City; and her brother, Ralph A. Frederick III, of Kings Mountain, N.C. Her sister-in-law, Joanie Frederick, passed away in 2011.

Karen enjoyed fishing with her daughter, reading and quilting with her mother. She never missed a bingo game, and her previously owned Rottweilers were always close to her heart. The love of her life was her granddaughter, Bella, and all the memories they shared as a family with her mother, Joann, and daughter, Megan.
