Sensory-friendly event in Cranberry to let children greet Santa from the comfort of a car

Santa Clause visits the Butler Eagle for an interview, Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025. Matthew Brown/Butler Eagle

Santa is bringing some of his favorite North Pole fun to Cranberry Township to help get people in the holiday spirit — and people don’t even need to leave their vehicles to greet him at an event Saturday, Dec. 13.

The Cranberry Township Sunrise Rotary planned a sensory-friendly event that allows participants to drive through different North Pole stops, so they can feel more comfortable in their interactions with Santa. The event will also feature other fun and festive activities.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, 2525 Rochester Road. The Rotary club is asking that people register for a specific time slot ahead of time online at calendly.com/cranberrysunriserotary/sensory-santa.
