Lezzer Lumber expands footprint with acquisitions in Butler County

A lumber company is expanding its footprint in Western Pennsylvania with the acquisition of three lumberyards.

Lezzer Lumber, based in Curwensville, Clearfield County, said in a news release it is acquiring H.P. Starr and Brookside Lumber, a family owned building materials company that serves the Greater Pittsburgh region.

The acquisition includes three lumberyards in Jackson Township, Middlesex Township and Bethel Park. Lezzer Lumber said the acquisition helps it strengthen its position in the region as a provider of services for contractors, remodelers and DIY customers.

Lezzer Lumber oversees 15 lumberyards statewide.
