Knoch disposed of Ellwood City 47-22 thanks to six pins by Caden Hassler (121 pounds), Jarrett Crowe (139), Owen Layhew (145), Brayden McGowan (152), Keegan Orris (160) and Maximus Barrionuevo (172).
The Knights improved to 2-0.
Kyle McConahy had a team-high 247 game and Hannah Windows had a 723 series as Freeport’s girls team downed Shaler 5-3.
Shaler (boys) 7, Freeport 0 — John Fischer rolled a team-best 205 game and 543 series for the Yellowjackets.
Butler beat McGuffey 797-60x to 785-47x on Tuesday. No other stats were reported.
