Kurt Worgan, 40, of Erie, passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025.

He was born on July 29,1985, in Butler, to Wayne Worgan and Jill Rose.

Kurt enjoyed the art of cooking and sharing food for others. He had a deep appreciation for philosophy, literature and would have bursts of creative writing. Kurt was brilliant, curious, articulate, goofy with a side of seriousness and skilled in debate.

He was the father of Vince Mcanallen, and a parental figure to Monroe and Jay; brother of Pam Hosler, Kiersten Lapen and Wade; and uncle to niece Zoe Hosler, with a niece/nephew on the way.

We will continue to love him, and remember him through his strength, courage and love of life and family.

WORGAN — Family and friends of Kurt Worgan, who died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A closing prayer will immediately follow in the funeral home.
