Regis Traggiai
Regis Donald Traggiai, 88, of Cabot, passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025.
He was born in Cabot on Feb. 18, 1937, to the late Americo and Nora (Paganelli) Traggiai.
Regis was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, metal detecting and mowing the lawn in his spare time. After graduating high school, he worked at Moonlight Mushrooms for 35 years and later retired from Allegheny Axle.
Regis was an active member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church his entire life. He enjoyed his retirement years at his hunting camp in Mount Jewett with his sons, grandsons and granddaughter. He was also an active member of the Butler County Treasure Hunters.
He was the beloved husband of the late Bette Jo Traggiai for 55 years; father of Regina (Vince) Russo, Donovan (Tracy) Traggiai, and daughter-in-law, Becca Traggiai; brother of Robert Traggiai, grandfather of Chelsea, David, Devin, Vincent, Nicholas, Hanna, Emma, Marissa and Addyson; and great-grandfather of Bristol, Michael and Otto.
Along with his parents and wife, Regis was preceded in death by his son, Jason Traggiai; brothers, Richard Traggiai and Ronald Traggiai; and sisters, Rita Negley and Rena Minteer.
TRAGGIAI — Arrangements for Regis Donald Traggiai, who died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at St. Francis Parish, St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot.
