Online voting open for PennDOT Paint the Plow program
The state Department of Transportation announced public voting will be open for this year’s Paint the Plow program, a statewide initiative that highlights safe winter driving while showcasing artistic talents of Pennsylvania students.
This year’s theme is “Don’t race. Allow some space.” It encourages drivers to keep a safe distance from plows and other vehicles in winter weather conditions.
Nine snowplows were creatively painted by high school students in Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana and Jefferson counties. This includes Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District.
Voting runs from Dec. 8 through 14. The public can vote for their favorite design through an online survey posted at http://www.penndot.pa.gov/PaintthePlow.
