Barry Stickel
Barry Wade Stickel, 73, of Zelienople, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025.
Born June 21, 1952, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late William Curtis and Grace L. (Fox) Stickel.
Barry was a devoted lifetime member and church elder of Park United Presbyterian Church; he even organized guy’s nights out (GNO) at the church. He was an avid sports fan, having coached all of his children. Barry loved playing hockey with his son, as well as playing golf and supporting Pittsburgh sports teams with their signature black and gold.
He was a major history buff and very knowledgeable about Napoleon and World War II. He also loved and had a great appreciation for music. Above all else, Barry was a proud husband and father, who was always there for his family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 50 years, Alice (Eichholtz) Stickel; his children, Carrie, Brett and Katie; his brother, Earl Gregg Stickel; his brother-in-law, Harold (Nancy) Eichholtz; his sister-in-law, Janie (Tony) Cuccaro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
STICKEL — Friends and family of Barry Wade Stickel, who died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at Park United Presbyterian Church, 109 E. Grandview Ave, Zelienople, PA 16063.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Barry’s honor to Park United Presbyterian Church.
