Robert ‘Bob’ Fisher
Robert G. “Bob” Fisher, 90, of Butler, passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 21, 1935, in Butler Township, the son of the late Elry Edwin and Esther (Ferne) Fisher.
Bob was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He also was a member of Victory Lodge No. 272, Syria, New Castle Consistory, Butler Rotary and the Gideons. Bob owned and operated Fisher's Service and Towing, Main Street, Butler, from 1958 until the time of his retirement in 2000. His slogan was “Give Bob the job.”
Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Nancy (Pizor) Fisher, of Butler; his sons, Thomas L. (Karen) Fisher, of Butler, and Jeffrey S. (Janis) Fisher, of Gibsonia; his daughter, Kimberly S. (Jahn) Hunka, of Butler; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Carol) Fisher, of Kissimmee, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Debbie Eck; and his cat, Trixie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert G. Fisher Jr.; and his brother, Jim Fisher.
FISHER — Friends of Robert G. “Bob” Fisher, who died Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
Military honors will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., Butler, PA 16001, with the Rev. David Phillips officiating.
Interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
