Mildred ‘Millie’ Steinacker
Mildred “Millie” (Zeigler) Beighey Steinacker, 96, formerly of Marion Township, Beaver County, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025. She had been under the care of Concordia at Villa St. Joseph in Baden for the past four years.
Mildred was born July 5, 1929, in Zelienople. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Schramm) Zeigler.
She was a homemaker and a life member of St. John’s Burry’s Church, New Sewickley Township, Beaver County. Mildred was employed by Mel-Den of Zelienople as a bookkeeper for many years and was a former tax collector for Marion Township.
Mildred enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly. She loved and enjoyed all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sending cards for various holidays, and cooking and baking (especially chocolate chip cookies) for family gatherings.
She is survived by her children, Carol (George) Steinacker, of New Sewickley Township, Diane Olpere, of North Wales, Pa., and Dale (Joyce) Beighey, of Fombell. Also surviving are her stepchildren, George (Carol) Steinacker, of New Sewickley Township, Patty (Skip) Wachter, of Dauphin, and Peggy (Tim) Long, of Palmyra; stepdaughter-in-law, Molly Steinacker, of State College; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Beighey, who died July 27, 1965; and her second husband, John Steinacker, who died Dec. 16, 2021; a stepson, David Steinacker; a son-in-law, Daniel Olpere; and her brother, Paul Zeigler.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Concordia at Villa St. Joseph and Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassionate care of Millie.
STEINACKER — Friends of Mildred “Millie” (Zeigler) Beighey Steinacker, who died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
There will be an additional viewing on Monday, Dec. 8, starting at 10 a.m. at St. John's Burry's Church, Route 68, New Sewickley Township. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Raines officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Memorial Fund of St. John’s Burry’s Church, 1835 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074.
