George A. Schaffner, 83, passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, in O’Hara Township, Pa.

Born Feb. 27, 1942, George dedicated many years of service to the Operating Engineers Local 66, where he was well-respected among his colleagues.

George is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his sons, Nick and Brian; stepsons, Tony, Frank and Joe; and was a proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, George.

At this time, there will be no service. A celebration of life for George will be planned for a later date.
