Cardi B commissions bracelet made of newborn’s umbilical cord
Cardi B has turned her fourth baby’s umbilical cord into a golden heart-shaped bracelet, after the rapper welcomed her first child with Stefon Diggs this month.
The verified Mommy Made Encapsulation account shared on Instagram this week that the Bronx-bred Grammy winner, 33, had commissioned their company for the task.
“Where her journey started … turned into a keepsake she’ll treasure forever,” the video was captioned. “Creating this keepsake is always such an honor, but doing it for Cardi and her sweet baby again means the world to us.”
In an earlier post, Mommy Made Encapsulation also showed off a label that said, “This placenta belongs to: Cardi B (Round 2).”
“Thank you, Cardi, for trusting me again with your magical placenta,” wrote company founder Juliane Marie Corona. “We back in the lab like it’s tradition at this point.”
In November 2024, the account first shared it was working with Cardi, captioning a post: “No words needed for this placenta encapsulation.”
Cardi and Diggs, 31, a wide receiver for the New England Patriots, welcomed their baby boy Nov. 4, according to a post this week with the first public images of the baby.
The rapper also shares daughters Blossom, 1, and Kulture, 7, as well as son Wave, 4, with estranged husband Offset, from whom she filed for divorce in 2024.

Jenny McCarthy has been to hell and back this past year because of a recurring mouth infection from a failed ceramic dental implant that led to a slew of ongoing medical issues.
The 53-year-old actress and TV personality opened up about the gruesome health scare that caused her teeth to fall out and led to growths on her eyeballs.
“I’ve had nine surgeries this year, on my mouth,” she told People magazine. “I had one infection that turned into another and another, and then I had these growths show up on my eyeballs.”
McCarthy added that after her teeth and implants started falling out, doctors dug into her jawbone and eventually uncovered a deep bone infection.
“I’ve been on antibiotics for a year, and have had to eat soft foods only,” she said.
But fans wouldn’t know the “Masked Singer” judge went through the medical ordeal from the looks of the annual holiday card she and her husband, Donnie Wahlberg, sent out on Tuesday. McCarthy said her trim and toned physique, which she flaunts in the photo, was a side effect of her not being able to eat much due to a mouthful of stitches.
“I had two more mouth surgeries even after that photo was taken,” she said, noting that while she’s now able to eat again, she’s not out of the woods just yet.
“As of now, I’m able to chew again, but every time we thought it had cleared up, it came back again. I’d be in massive pain with my jaw swelling up, and at the same time I was getting these growths popping up on my eyeballs,” she revealed. “People should actually feel a little sorry for me!”
This Thanksgiving, the former Playboy playmate is looking forward to spending time with Wahlberg, whom she married in 2014.
“It’s just me and him, at home in Chicago — me cooking a bird, and enjoying each other. I think I’m past the storm,” she said. “I’m about to chow down!”

Jack White's Thanksgiving Day halftime performance at the Detroit Lions game, which featured a surprise appearance by Eminem, has been released as a single to streaming services.
“Live at Ford Field,” featuring “That's How I'm Feeling,” “Hello Operator/ 'Till I Collapse” and “Seven Nation Army,” hit Spotify on Friday. It is credited to both Jack White and Eminem.
The two Detroit superstars hit the stage together at the midway point of Thursday's contest between the Lions and the Packers. The performance won raves from fans and across social media; Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal tweeted, “Goosebumps … @Eminem @jackwhite You guys available April 3rd?”
(April 3 is the Tigers' home opener, against the St. Louis Cardinals.)
The halftime performance was the first under the Lions' recently announced partnership with Eminem and his manager, Paul Rosenberg, to executive-produce the Lions' Thanksgiving halftime show. Their stewardship runs through 2027.
