John L. Kriebel, 74, of Evans City, passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at Cranberry Place with his sons at his side.

As a young man, John was an avid fisherman and enjoyed racing his motorcycle. He enjoyed going fishing with his sons and on fishing trips with friends. He loved making things, either with wood or, more recently, with his 3D printer. And he was always generous; you were likely to be gifted with one of his creations when you visited.

Most of all, John looked forward to his time with his family, especially his grandsons, who often visited him.

Surviving are his mother, Ruby Kriebel of Harmony; two sons, Kevin of Butler and Scott (Brooke) of Sarver; two grandsons, Oscar and Elliott; a brother, Carl (Ruth) Kriebel Jr. of Mars; sisters, Cheri (Butch) Conrath of Mars, Pam (Gary) Gibson of Mars, Linda (Rick) Skandar of Evans City; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen M. Kriebel, and his father, Carl Kriebel.
