East Brady Borough in Clarion County and the East Brady Area Development Corporation announced the annual Cookie Crawl and Light Up Night is being held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6.

The Cookie Crawl runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature over a dozen locations dotted around the borough and the Arnold Beabout Community Center. Presale tickets for the Cookie Crawl cost $8 and are currently available at the borough office and the Old Bank Deli.

The community center, located at 502 Ferry St., also will be holding an open house during the Cookie Crawl, giving visitors the opportunity to check out the amenities it offers.

Allegheny Hills Retirement Residence, located at 421 Kelly’s Way, will be host to crafters, a rummage sale, a 50/50 raffle ticket sale, lunch and the sale of ICE JAM jam between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

At 4 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus, escorted by East Brady firefighters, will arrive at Veteran’s Memorial Park at the corner of Kelly’s Way and First Street. Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn, holiday music and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, with treat bags sponsored by East Brady Baptist Church, will be available in the Farmer’s National Bank parking lot between 4 and 5 p.m.

Light Up Night will begin at 5 p.m. with a greeting from the borough council president and development corporation vice president, as well as an invocation. Carolers from Mother Goose Christian Preschool and local soloists will perform as the lights are turned on. Tickets for a 50/50 raffle will also be sold during the festivities.

Some downtown locations such as Plaza Pantry, Old Bank Deli, All Stars, St. Cloud and Uni-Mart will be open for business during the event.
