The Adams Township board of supervisors indicated this week their 2026 budget won’t include any kind of tax increase.

At the board’s Monday, Nov. 24 meeting, board president Russell Ford said while other details on the budget are not currently available, the supervisors will not increase taxes in 2026.

The township currently has a millage rate of 3.75 mills. A mill is equal to $1 in taxes for every $1,000 of assessed real estate value.

Last year, Ford said the township had not raised taxes in 30 years, last raising the millage rate in 1994.

In 2025, Adams Township’s budget had roughly $10.1 million in expenditures.

The township’s supervisors will hold a budget work session meeting on Monday, Dec. 1 a 6 p.m. The board will have a budget adoption meeting on Monday, Dec. 22 at 8 a.m.
