Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

State police, Butler

Nov. 5 — Joshua Paul Luchkiw, 40, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following an Aug. 18 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Luchkiw showed signs of impairment.

Nov. 5 — Devon James Baptiste, 38, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of false identification to law enforcement and controlled substance possession following an Oct. 22 incident in Butler. Police said Baptiste initially provided false identifying information and had suspected methamphetamine.

Nov. 5 — Robert James Aleva III, 31, of Freedom, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Sept. 21 traffic stop in Zelienople. Police said Aleva had a blood alcohol content of 0.231%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Nov. 5 — Levi Cole Webb, 30, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief following a May 19, 2024, incident in West Liberty. Police said Webb broke a car window.

Nov. 5 — Trenton J. Tompkins, 39, of Prospect, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Oct. 17 incident. Police said Tompkins tested positive for fentanyl and had five sealed stamp bags of suspected fentanyl.

Nov. 5 — Nyckolas Alexander Hubbard, 20, of Steubenville, Ohio, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an Oct. 1 crash in Mercer Township. Police said Hubbard had a THC vape pen.

Nov. 5 — Jeffery A. Madison, 58, of Harrisville, was charged with misdemeanor firearm not to be carried without a license following an Oct. 25 crash in Brady Township. Police said Madison had a had a loaded firearm with an expired concealed carry permit.

Nov. 14 — Police investigated the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl that occurred between Sept. 1 and Oct. 17 in Bruin.

Nov. 14 — Police investigated the rape of a 14-year-old girl that occurred Aug. 1 in Parker Township.

Nov. 14 — Police investigated a two-vehicle crash at 7:43 a.m. at the intersection of East Portersville Road and the south entrance ramp of Interstate 79 in Portersville. Police said Joseph B. Marshall, 55, of Chicora, driving a Ram 1500, struck a Honda driven by Kimberly B. Mixon, 26, of Ellwood City. Marshall and Mixon were evaluated for suspected minor injuries.

Nov. 15 — Police investigated the theft of a Credit One credit card valued at $564 that occurred between Oct. 1 and Nov. 4 near Main and Washington streets in Connoquenessing.

Nov. 15 — Police investigated the theft of $30,000 from an 82-year-old man that occurred between May 1 and Nov. 10 in Winfield Township.

Nov. 15 — Police investigated the theft of an Apple MacBook Pro valued at $1,142.99 from a 55-year-old woman that occurred Nov. 7 in Clay Township.

Nov. 16 — Police investigated the theft of $2,125.47 from a 59-year-old man that occurred between Oct. 16 and Nov. 6 in Franklin Township.
