Two years ago when you gained your wings,

We wish you could have stayed with us,

but Heaven needed you.

You are at peace, your soul at rest,

but that won’t stop the tears

As we remember the special times

we all shared over the years.

Although we cannot bring you back,

you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you

the day God called you home.
