2 Butler County fugitives arrested in Clarion County
Police in Clarion County apprehended two Butler County fugitives last week for extradition.
Chelsea Steele, 34, and Tyler Ealy, 18, were arrested after a search warrant was executed on Medardo Estates in Rimersburg, according to a news release from the Southern Clarion County Regional Police Department.
The two are charged in Butler County with misdemeanor trespass. Steele was extradited to Butler County Prison and released Monday. Ealy remains in custody at Butler County Prison.
Police said they received a tip alleging the two were at the residence. Both were arrested without incident and taken to Clarion County Jail.
Both Steele’s and Ealy’s formal arraignments are scheduled for 1 p.m. Dec. 16 in Butler County Common Pleas Courtroom 5.
The police department thanked the Clarion County sheriff and probation departments for their assistance.
