Butler library will hold fraud awareness presentation

An informational presentation at the Butler Area Public Library will focus on how scams work.
“Empowering Customers Against Fraud: Awareness, Prevention, Protection,” aims to teach people about the red flags and warning signs of scams. The presentation will touch on investment and cryptocurrency hoaxes, types of scams, and what preventive measures a person can take for protection.
The presentation takes place at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the library, 218 N. McKean St. in Butler.
