Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

Oct. 29 — Craig Vincent Madeya, 63, of Valencia, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of DUI, controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Sept. 15 traffic stop. Police said Madeya had a charred glass pipe and chore boy, suspected crack cocaine and tested positive for cocaine.

Oct. 29 — Gerchard Brian Luck Jr., 34, of Pittsburgh, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Sept. 15 traffic stop. Police said Luck had a charred glass pipe with chore boy and suspected crack cocaine.

Oct. 29 — Brad Nelson Thornburg, 40, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor carrying a firearm without a license following an Oct. 27 traffic stop. Police said Thornburg had a 9 mm pistol and cartridge both stored in the center console without a concealed carry permit.

Oct. 30 — Margaret Catherine Little, 66, of Valencia, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Oct. 29 crash. Police said Little had a blood alcohol content of 0.215%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Nov. 3 — Grant Alex Boyle, 24, of Valencia, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a Nov. 3 incident in Valencia. Police said Boyle punched a man in the face.

Nov. 3 — Joshua S. Lutz, 39, of Emlenton, was charged with felony fleeing police following an Aug. 14 incident. Police said Lutz fled a traffic stop.

Buffalo Twp

Oct. 31 — Collin M. Harvey, 26, of Sarver, was charged with misdemeanor tampering with evidence following an Oct. 12 crash. Police said Harvey was driving a vehicle with the wrong license plate.

Butler

Oct. 31 — Gary Andrew Mader, 38, of Burgettstown, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Sept. 26 incident. Police said Mader had a blood alcohol content of 0.316%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Nov. 2 — George Wilson Willis III, 37, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following a Nov. 1 incident. Police said Willis was threatening people in a business and refusing to leave.

Butler County Detectives

Oct. 30 — John Dean Clark III, 58, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor furnishing drug-free urine following an Oct. 29 incident in Butler. Police said Clark attempted to use fake urine to pass a probation screening.

Jackson Twp

Oct. 30 — William Michael Hurley, 61, of Zelienople, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Oct. 18 traffic stop. Police said Hurley had a blood alcohol content of 0.16%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Northern Regional Police Department

Oct. 31 — Aidan Jakob Shevlin, 20, of New Stanton, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Sept. 15 traffic stop in Seven Fields. Police said Shevlin had a blood alcohol content of 0.13%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

State police, Butler

Oct. 29 — Christina Lynn Miller, 38, of Oil City, was charged with misdemeanor false identification to law enforcement following a Nov. 7, 2024, traffic stop in Butler. Police said Miller gave police a false last name. Charges were not filed until this year.

Oct. 29 — Hunter Michael Reep, 27, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Sept. 14 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Reep had a blood alcohol content of 0.178%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Oct. 30 — Ethan William Thompson, 24, of Mars, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 29, 2024, traffic stop in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Thompson had a blood alcohol content of 0.106%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%. Charges were not filed until this year.

Oct. 30 — Patrick Travis Sharrar, 37, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Dec. 13 traffic stop in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Sharrar had a blood alcohol content of 0.186%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Oct. 30 — John Hansbury Jr., 46, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and misdemeanor resisting arrest following a March 3 crash in Franklin Township. Police said Hansbury pulled away from officers while being handcuffed and had a blood alcohol content of 0.317%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Oct. 30 — Ashley Lynn Berry, 38, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 7, 2024, incident in Franklin Township. Police said Berry had a knotted plastic baggie with cocaine, two plastic baggies with white residue, three glass smoking devices and a digital scale. Charges were not filed until this year.

Oct. 30 — Curtis Douglas Spiering, 61, of Lower Burrell, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of DUI and controlled substance possession following a Sept. 26 traffic stop in Muddy Creek Township. Police said Spiering showed signs of impairment.

Oct. 30 — Cynthia Maragaret Lansdowne, 50, of New Castle, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of DUI and drug paraphernalia possession following an Oct. 5 traffic stop in Muddy Creek Township. Police said Lansdowne had a marijuana vape pen and showed signs of impairment.

Oct. 30 — Raymond W. Priester, 57, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft following a July 12, 2024, incident in Center Township. Police said Priester sold a man a gift card with no balance for $50. Charges were not filed until this year.

Oct. 30 — Stephen Jonathan Hess, 45, of Eau Claire, was charged with misdemeanor controlled substance possession following a Dec. 31, 2024 incident in Harrisville. Police said Hess had a baggie of marijuana. Charges were not filed until this year.

Nov. 3 — Eric Lee Stettmier, 61, of Slippery Rock, was charged with one felony count each of carrying a firearm without a license and fleeing police, and misdemeanor DUI following an Oct. 31 pursuit in Brady Township. Police said Stettmier fled a traffic stop, had a firearm without a valid concealed carry permit and showed signs of impairment.

Nov. 3 — William Clark Moore, 53, of Parker, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Oct. 17 traffic stop in Parker Township. Police said Moore had a blood alcohol content of 0.089%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Nov. 3 — Corey Allen Stewart, 33, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 11 traffic stop in Summit Township. Police said Stewart had a blood alcohol content of 0.087%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Nov. 3 — Elijah Howard Stewart, 28, of Boyers, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 19, 2024, incident in Marion Township. Police said Stewart had a glass smoking pipe and four steel wool filters. Charges were not filed until this year.

Nov. 3 — Calvin Cole Delprete, 29, of Zelienople, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of drug paraphernalia possession following an Oct. 4 incident in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Delprete had a vial containing suspected THC oil and a silicone smoking pipe.

Nov. 3 — Justin Lee Tincha, 40, of Renfrew, was charged with two misdemeanor counts each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 10 incident in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Tincha had Xanax and another medication not prescribed to him in a small clear baggie and a pill container.

Zelienople

Oct. 29 — Kathy Lee White, 18, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault and reckless endangerment following an Oct. 23 incident. Police said White swung at a person with a rock while carrying scissors.
