Geraldine Wigton
Geraldine Louise (Kozlowski) Wigton, 81, of Butler, passed into new life Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, after a brief illness.
She was born April 18, 1944, in Camden, N.J., to Walter and Jean (Przytula) Kozlowski.
She graduated from Trenton State College in 1966 and taught senior high math until 1981, when she became a full-time mom.
Gerry loved her family, the Jersey Shore, the women of her Bible study and all the people at the Butler “Y.”
She is survived by her husband, Bill Wigton; daughters, Kathryn (Derrick) Howryla and Jessica (Ian) Meeks; grandsons, Ethan and Seth Howryla, with baby Meeks on the way; sister, Diane (David) Hurt, of Bluffton, S.C.; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Jean Kozlowski.
WIGTON — A visitation for Geraldine Louise (Kozlowski) Wigton, who died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, will be held from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish, Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler, 16002.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gerry's name to the Butler YMCA at 339 N. Washington, Butler PA 16001, or a charity of choice.
