Longtime resident Mike Doban will begin a six-year term on the Lancaster Township Board of Supervisors in January after winning the seat in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
He received 1,076 votes out of the 1,213 that were cast after decisively winning the Republican primary in May. The other 137 write-in votes were split between Joel Grabe and interim Supervisor Lisa Wylie, who was appointed by the board in July following the resignation of Timothy Zinkham.
Grabe, who serves on the township’s planning commission, launched a write-in campaign in the weeks leading up to the election.
Chairman Greg Kessler and Vice Chairman Rich Marcotte are the other two supervisors on the board.
