A Thanksgiving race will give runners and walkers a reason to get up early, aside from preparing food.

Gobbler’s Gallop takes place Thursday morning, Nov. 27, at Riverside High School, 300 Country Club Drive, Ellwood City. The 10K race begins at 9 a.m., and the 5K begins at 10:15 a.m. There is also an option to walk either distance.

The cost to register is $20 for the 5K and the 10K; and to register to do both, it’s $23. Day-of registration is $3 more for each race. To register, visit runsignup.com and search “Gobbler’s Gallop.”
