One person was taken to an area hospital when a tanker truck rolled over around 2:40 a.m. early Wednesday morning, Nov. 12, in Fairview Township, according to Butler County Emergency Services Dispatch reports.

Crews were on the scene near the intersection of Fairmont Road and Kittanning Pike for about an hour and 20 minutes.

A Facebook post from the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department urged “extreme caution” in the area.

Also responding were state police in Butler, Chicora Volunteer Fire Department, Bruin Volunteer Fire Department and Karns City Regional Ambulance Service.
