Kirsten Huf
Kirsten Huf, 47, of Butler, beat cancer by how she lived, but lost her life after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025.
She was born in Butler on July 6, 1978, to Mary (Leech) Huf and the late Joseph Huf.
Kirsten graduated from Butler High School in 1996. She had numerous self-employment ventures, from DJ and real estate to being a business owner.
Kirsten enjoyed entertaining and cooking for her family and friends, camping, going to the casino and traveling, especially to the beach. She was an animal lover and in her free time home improvement projects kept her busy. Kirsten was active with Habitat for Humanity and an advocate for cancer research, taught Sunday school and was a volleyball coach.
Kirsten is survived by her mother; siblings, Cheri (Wayne) Weiland, Joseph (Cheryl) Huf and Jerry (Sonya) Huf; loving partner, Kelley Mickelic; dear friend Jenn Reott; and her beloved furbabies, Gus, Stella and Carmen.
HUF — Family and friends of Kirsten Huf, who died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society to honor Kirsten’s love of animals.
