Independence Health System named one of America’s 100 healthiest employers
Independence Health System was recently named one of the 100 healthiest workplaces in America, according to a report released by the employee health monitoring platform Springbuk.
Independence Health, which includes Butler Memorial Hospital, ranked 50th in the top 100, according to Springbuk, which administers the annual Healthiest Employers awards program.
This marks the second consecutive year Independence Health cracked the top 100 list. This year, it managed to climb 29 spots from its 79th-place finish in 2024.
Entries were graded on their performance in six categories: culture and leadership commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communications and marketing, programming and interventions, and reporting and analytics.
“We are honored to be named one of the healthiest 100 workplaces in America,” said Patrick Martin, manager of Independence Health’s Well-Being Center. “We remain committed to evolving these resources to meet the changing needs of our workforce and the communities we serve.”
Harris Health System, of Houston, placed first.
