Police: Man breaks into apartment, urinates in fridge

A Kittanning man is accused of breaking into an apartment in Slippery Rock Township and urinating in the occupant’s fridge.

Gage Joel Toy, 20, was charged with one felony count each of burglary and criminal trespass, and misdemeanor disorderly conduct following a Nov. 1 incident.

Police said they were called to an apartment complex off Harmony Road for reports of a man who kicked in a woman’s apartment door and urinated in the fridge. The woman said the man was attempting to fight others in the apartment and tried to enter other apartments after leaving.

The apartment’s security detained Toy before police arrived, and police took custody of him. Security told police Toy had been attempting to fight people all night.

Police then spoke with the caller, who said Toy entered the unlocked apartment and was found urinating in the fridge. The occupants were able to get Toy out of the apartment, but he went back in before being detained by security.

Toy’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, before District Judge Joseph Nash.
