Community Options names regional vice president

Community Options, a leading national nonprofit that develops housing and employment supports for people with disabilities, has promoted Lacie Parker to regional vice president overseeing operations in Maryland, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania.

Community Options has an office at 407 W. Jefferson St. in Butler.

Parker joined Community Options in 2012 as a direct support professional and has held several leadership positions. Under her leadership, Pennsylvania has grown to become Community Options’ largest state with more than 275 homes.

In her new role, Parker will guide growth and operations. Community Options supports more than 1,200 people with disabilities and families through residential, employment and day supports.

A graduate of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, Parker has a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master of public administration degree from Pennsylvania State University.
