Jacob ‘Jake’ Ruth
Jacob “Jake” Ryan Ruth, 26, of Harmony, sadly lost his battle with mental illness and he passed away Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025.
Born March 30, 1999, in Butler, he was the son of Kevin D. and Rebecca S. Beige Ruth.
He was a 2017 graduate of Butler Area High School. After school, he served in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Jake was self-employed, where he used his talents and skills in construction.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Ruth; his son, Maverick Ruth; the mother of their children, Alyssa Neill, of Harmony; his parents, Kevin and Rebecca Ruth, of Butler; siblings, Josh Ruth, Lily Ruth, Palin Ruth and Roman Ruth, all of Butler; maternal grandmother, Patricia Brickner, of Butler; paternal grandfather, Dale Ruth, of Fenelton; paternal grandmother, Phyllis (Ted) Dittmer, of Butler; his dog, Odin; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Edward “Ned” Beige; and paternal grandmother, Elaine Ruth.
RUTH — Funeral services were private for Jacob “Jake” Ryan Ruth, who died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025.
Arrangements are under the direction of RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.
