Soroptimist International of Butler County is accepting applications for its 2026 Live Your Dream award.

The award, presented in April, is given to recognize women who have overcome a significant obstacle in their lives and are working to fulfill their dreams of a better future through education. Awards most often are given to women with significant financial need.

Applicants should be female and head of her household, which means she provides the primary financial support for her family. Applicants must currently be enrolled or accepted in a training or educational program.

Awards from the Butler County chapter in 2026 will range from $1,500 to $1,000. The top local winner will have the opportunity to advance to the Soroptimist district level award consideration.
