Donna F. Gardner, 93, of Zelienople, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at Passavant Retirement Home.

She was born Feb. 28, 1932, in Butler, to the late V. Lamont Philips and Faye (Wilson) Philips.

She attended Butler High School and graduated in 1950. She worked at Hutchison's dry cleaners for 40 years. She loved trivia and camping. Donna also loved to spend time with her family.

Donna is survived by her two daughters, Robin (Scott) Fischer, of Portersville, and Sheri (Brian) Ritenour, of Hartville, Ohio; two grandsons, Ryan Hays and Hunter Hays; one great-granddaughter, Rylee Hays; three sisters, Norma Brunermer and Audrey Kennedy, both of Butler, and Linda Cook, of Leesburg, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Gardner, whom she married Dec. 1, 1951, and who passed away June 1, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tammie Gardner; and her grandparents.

GARDNER — A memorial service for Donna F. Gardner, who died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler, with Pastor Christy Pittman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a dementia foundation of your choice.
