Tri-County CleanWays and Community Partnership are working together to offer a workshop about backyard composting

The workshop is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Artisan Resiliency Center, 781 New Castle Road, Franklin Township.

Participation is limited to 20 people. There is no cost to attend the workshop and all attendees will receive a free compost bin, according to a news release from Tri-County CleanWays.

The workshop will cover the basics of how to compost at home, the importance of composting as a way to reduce our waste stream and how this simple practice helps build clean and beautiful communities.
