1 Knoch student taken to hospital in ‘precaution’ after van strikes deer
One student was taken to the hospital out of precaution on Monday morning, Oct. 27, after a school van carrying secondary students from Knoch School District struck a deer.
Superintendent David Foley said the student had bumped their head in the crash, prompting a precautionary visit to the hospital.
The crash was reported just after 7:10 a.m. along Riemer Road in Penn Township.
The other students aboard the van were able to continue on their way to school, he said. No other injuries were reported.
