Bruce Tyson, 72, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, under the care of Transitions Health Care in Irwin, Pa., after experiencing some personal medical issues throughout the years.

Born in Butler, he was the son of Torie E. and Honey Lou Tyson. He is survived by his son, Torin; and his brother, Steven.

He worked in many trades throughout the years, from being a stone mason to driving tractor trailer trucks. Bruce enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding and even built a log cabin home. He will be missed by all.

TYSON — Bruce Tyson, who died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, will be laid to rest privately in two small private ceremonies, including at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wexford.
