While some locations provide temporary drop-off locations for unneeded or unwanted prescription medication for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, which falls on Saturday, Oct. 25, this year, there are other locations which offer permanent, safe drug disposal.

Allegheny Health Network provides several permanent drug take-back boxes at its locations throughout Western Pennsylvania, including one in the main lobby of the AHN Cancer Institute on Hollywood Drive in Butler.
