William Sepich Sr.

Sepich

William F. Sepich Sr., 89, of Saxonburg, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Feb. 23, 1936, in West Winfield, he was the son of Joseph Sepich and Anna Vucjak Sepich.

Bill worked as a foreman for Moonlight Mushrooms, retiring in 1993. He then went to work as a greeter for the next 15 years at Kelly Chevrolet. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church in Cabot and the Knights of Columbus.

Bill always loved spending time with family and friends. He had a passion for playing baseball and softball. He played in Tri-County baseball throughout the Alle-Kiski area and played 16 years of competitive softball. His teams participated in many national tournaments where he was named to the All-World Team five times. He played on many baseball and softball championship teams throughout his career.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda (Luke) Sepich, whom he married Dec. 1, 1973; his daughter, Christie (Steve) Corbin, of Findlay, Ohio; his son, Bill Sepich Jr., of Valencia; three grandchildren, Brooke Grabbe, Joseph Sherrib and Krystal Sepico; and three great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Adeline and Margo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joseph Sepich and John Sepich; and two sisters, Mary Lubatti and Millie Coller.

SEPICH — Friends of William F. Sepich Sr., who died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at St. Joseph Church with Father Ward Stakem and Father James Kurtz officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
