2 candidates in Cherry Township tax collector election
An incumbent Democrat and a Republican challenger are competing in the election for Cherry Township tax collector this November.
Angel Puca, running on the Democratic side, has served in the role since 2017. Puca has previously run with the Democratic nomination since 2017 and ran unopposed as a cross-filed candidate in 2021.
Tiffany Grossman received the Republican nomination in the May primary. She currently works as a transportation schedule manager for Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Butler Township.
Grossman said she wants to make sure “everyone knows their taxes are taken care of,” and wants to be responsive to community members.
Puca could not be reached for additional comment.
The person in the role oversees the collection of tax revenue from residents of Cherry Township. The election is being held on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
