Charles McCall
Charles L. McCall, 88, of Renfrew, passed away peacefully the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, while under the care of Magnolia Place of Saxonburg.
Born April 16, 1937, in Parker, he was the son of the late John C. and Lelia G. (Fowler) McCall.
Upon his graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving his country honorably. Charles was very active in the Butler County Honor Guard where he served as chaplain. He was also a Freemason and a member of the Butler County Sheriff's Association and American Legion Post No. 778. Charles loved connecting with and serving the veteran community. He also enjoyed hunting, collecting John Deere tractors, tinkering, tools and fixing anything he could get his hands on. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy L. Mirialakis; his son, Douglas McCall; and his sister, Mary Kriebel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Dot, Elanor and Helen; and two brothers, Lawson and Jim.
MCCALL — Friends of Charles L. McCall, who died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001. Full military honors, accorded by the Butler County Honor Guard, will immediately follow at 2 p.m.
He will be laid to rest privately at Butler County Memorial Park & Mausoleum.
