Lance Dudeck
Lance F. Dudeck, 66, of Hubbard, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at the Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.
Lance was born Jan. 27, 1959, in Butler, a son of Carl R. Sr. and Frances E. Wentzel Dudeck.
He was a 1977 graduate of Butler Senior High School and later received his bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University.
Lance was a data systems manager for Trumbull County Children’s Services, retiring in September 2025.
Lance will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family, his wife, the former Pamela J. Runkle, whom he married Dec. 28, 1985; his daughter, Lauren (Andrew) Smith, of Cortland, Ohio; his son, Phillip (Katlyn) Dudeck, of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; a grandson, Owen Smith; and his mother, Frances E. Dudeck, of Butler.
He also leaves his siblings, Carl Dudeck Jr., of Harrisburg, Keith (Pamela) Dudeck, of Ruffsdale, Pa., and Leatha (Paul) Baker, of Evans City.
Lance’s father preceded him in death.
DUDECK — There will be calling hours for Lance F. Dudeck, who died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday Oct. 24, and from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at KYLE FUNERAL HOMES VIENNA CHAPEL, 4471 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, Ohio 44473.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Vienna, with the Rev. Steven Agostino officiating.
Lance will be laid to rest at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Greenville, Pa.
