At 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, the Worthington-West Franklin Community Library will host “My Safe Places,” presented by a representative from HAVIN, a nonprofit that serves survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their significant others.

The free program is geared toward parents and caregivers of children up to 8 years old and will offer tips on helping children identify safe people and places in their daily lives.
